The CCA exam, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Competency Assessment, is a writing piece completed over one term for DBA students. This “exam” allows students to move on to their Dissertation Portion of the program, and it is obligatory. You need to complete this item before the dissertation as it serves your chair and other appointed reviewers to assess whether you are ready for the Research Project.
