About The Scholarship

California Intercontinental University is proud to offer a special Undergraduate Scholarship exclusively for students residing in the USA. This scholarship covers the cost of one credit per course ($438) and the application fee ($45), funds are awarded on a semester-by-semester basis.

Eligibility Requirements & Conditions

  • Application: Complete all admission and application documents.
  • Class Participation: Post attendance on the first Monday of each term.
  • Financial Aid: Must be Financial Aid–eligible or PELL-eligible, and complete the FAFSA to determine eligibility.
  • GPA Maintenance: Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.8 per semester.
  • Non-Combination: The scholarship cannot be combined with other institutional scholarships.
  • Continuous Enrollment: Maintain continuous enrollment throughout the program unless on an approved Leave of Absence (LOA).
  • Payment Arrangements: Remain current with all tuition payment arrangements. Overdue payments will impact scholarship eligibility.
  • Funding Purpose: Scholarships are awarded exclusively toward out-of-pocket costs.
  • Eligibility Timing: This scholarship cannot be awarded mid-program; eligibility requires enrollment in first-term courses.
  • Course Repeats: The scholarship does not cover repeated courses.
  • Combination with Federal Financial Aid: The UG Horizon Scholarship can be combined with Federal Financial Aid.
