Grammarly Guide

This guide shows the steps you need to follow to set up Grammarly.

Follow this video tutorial or read the following steps:

Log in to your student email

Go to https://outlook.office.com/mail/

Look for an email from Grammarly.

The subject of the email is: You’re invited to join California Intercontinental University on Grammarly

Click the Accept Invitation

Scroll down until you locate the "Accept Invitation" green button and click on it
Step 03

Create Grammarly Account

You will be taken to a screen, where you must create your Grammarly account. Note that you won’t be able to edit the email since the invitation we sent is just to be used on your student email.

Account Has Been Activated

After you create your account and sign in, you will see the main Grammarly screen.

Additional Steps

Add the Grammarly Extension

Install the extension

Once you click on the button. Click the blue button “Add to Chrome.”

Login to Your Account

You will be redirected to a new screen. In some cases, it will ask you to log in to your account use the credentials you set up in the previous steps.

All set!

From now on, you will get Grammarly spelling corrections

To add Grammarly for your Word Documents

Install the Add-In

Click the “Get Add-in” button

Download

You will see a download. Once it’s completed, double-click on it and click accept to the process, it should take a couple of minutes. After that, if you go to a Word Document, you should see Grammarly in the top bar.

From now on, you will get Grammarly spelling corrections in your Word Documents
