Dr. Houston has been teaching for 18 years and teaching online for 14 years. Melissa has worked in both for-profit and non-profit sectors. She has owned two businesses herself as an entrepreneur and has coached and mentored many students in that process. Dr. Houston has recruited and worked with the U.S. Military on 17 bases.
She has taught Business, HR, Public Administration, Marketing, and General Education Courses at Undergraduate and Graduate Levels as well as being a Dissertation Chair at various Academic Institutions. In her career, she has had the opportunity to teach diverse populations of students Globally. She continues to mentor several young women globally and continues with her education when opportunities arise.
Dr. Wilson has 26 years of professional and academic experience working in various accounting positions primarily in the construction and real estate industry. In addition to the real estate industry, Debbie was a global analyst for a national financial company working with a team housed in Dubai, India. Debbie was instrumental in hiring and training employees living and working abroad. Dr. Wilson is a member of the Academy of International Business as well as a member of the Academy of Management.
Currently reside in New York City, USA. Retired as Finance Manager for district of a $67 billion company.

Served as faculty member for Khalifa University of Science Technology and Research where I facilitate business courses in accounting, finance, management, and economics.
Jono is the Head of Disaster and Crisis with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies base in Panama, Panama after a role as Global Disaster Response and Relief Program Manager for at Airbnb. Prior to joining Airbnb, Jono was the Vice President of International Services for the American Red Cross. He led and managed the team responsible for the implementation of disaster services programs throughout the globe ensuring disaster services (Prepare, Respond and Recover) are delivered in a rapid and accessible manner, meeting the urgent needs of clients.
More than 26 years of professional experience in different parts of the World Bank specializing in international economics, modeling, econometrics, and management information systems.
Presently she is teaching economics, mathematics, statistics, financial accounting, and marketing courses live and on line, using e-college, Angellearning, WebCT, and black board platforms.
Deborah Colon-Mateo has over 27 years of professional and academic experience focused on business, communication, contract negotiation, and technology. Deborah Colon-Mateo’s academic experience predominantly focuses on 100% online learning environments.
I have 13 years of professional experience. I worked as a supervisor and manager for a small company in Nebraska for eight years consisting of the training and development of employees. I have had two and a half years of working in higher education as a recruiter and marketing liaison for both public and private institutions. I currently have been working for 3 years for Gallup as a workplace consultant, helping companies hire individuals based on their talent intensity, as well as being a certified StrengthsFinder coach.
I have worked for the District of Columbia Government for the past 27 years and have served in a management role for the past 16 years. I have extensive experience in areas such as management, human resource management, governmental finance, and auxiliary services.
As a strong believer in education, I will provide all my students with unparalleled dedication and commitment by creating a conducive learning environment where the students are able to use their knowledge, skills, and abilities to work and learn together throughout the course.
I have taught finance and business for several years. I have worked for several years in the education and supply chain industry, and I have vast experience in areas such as management, payroll, auditing, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Perception is everything. Each person learns differently because different people can perceive the same information or data in very different ways. It is important to use different teaching methods to reach every type of learner. I believe that creativity, life experiences, and current events are key factors to linking students and knowledge together for a more conducive learning environment and process.
My research is the area of finance. I have examined CEO compensation and financial performance in the U.S. Airline industry.
I have taught a variety of MBA, MHA, and DBA courses for over five years and have published a couple of books, participated in academic conferences, and published in academic journals. Outside of academia, I am a consultant providing services in HR, risk management, ad strategic leadership.
Mary Douglass has over 20 years of professional and academic experience focused on English, Psychology, Communication Studies and Theatre and Film. Mary worked at Universities and Community Colleges around the country. She was the Chair of the Theatre Department at Southeast Community College for eight years before relocating and teaching at The University of Nebraska/Lincoln. She brings 18 years of experience in the field of education as an educator, performer, counselor and director. In addition to teaching, Mary also works as a radio announcer for NPR and has appeared in dozens of commercials on television.

I have 10 years of experience in sales and marketing. 10 years ago I made the transition over to post-secondary education, and since I have worked in a number of different schools in administration and as a professor for freshman level business up to doctorate level.
I own an MBA with a concentration in Marketing, as well as a DBA with a concentration in Marketing. I worked full-time whilst studying for both my MBA and DBA, so I totally understand the struggles that you may be going through.
Dr. Bill Talboys has served at every level of higher education over the course of his career from professor to College Trustee. He is a currently serving as a senior instructor for the Maricopa Regional Government’s Executive Management Institute and a consultant to the Idaho Hunting and Outfitters Advisory Group.
Professor Weber was born and raised on the beaches of Southern California. He attended California State University at Fullerton for his Bachelor degree in German, and his Secondary School Teaching Credential. He earned his Master’s in Mathematics Education at Walden University. Professor Weber taught eight years of high school mathematics before moving into higher education.
Working with California Intercontinental University students is joy, and he loves his role as a professor, teaching to students things they did not think they could master.
I completed an Ed.D. in Learning Technologies from Pepperdine University in 2015. My dissertation research focused on using audio-visual tools and evidence-based approaches to feedback to enhance online students’ revision practices. I have over ten years of experience teaching English and academic reading and writing to diverse students in Kazakhstan, Turkey, Brazil, the U.S., and the United Arab Emirates. Having worked with diverse students and faculty in online, hybrid, and international learning environments, I am passionate about helping students achieve their academic and professional goals through effective scholarly writing.
I have almost 17 years’ experience in Information Technology. I also have 19 years of experience in Logistics including Inventory Management, Operation Management, Retail Management, and Transportation Management. I have also taught various traditional and online courses.
Educationally, I have an MBA from Nova Southeastern University. I will graduate with my PhD in Organization and Management specializing in Information Technology Management August 2013.
Dr. Besharatian has held numerous leadership and faculty positions at both two-year, and four-year higher education institutions.
He is an accomplished “Technology Management and Technology Transfer” specialist with 30 years of diverse, hands-on experience in academia, in-charge of training program development, business processes, technology management, team building, business strategy planning & implementation. In addition he is experienced in offering technology solutions to government, and international development programs in different countries, on systems integration, and distance learning training programs.
I have taught in Bejing, China and have worked as a consultant in Thailand, so I have really honed my communication skills in the international level. I have traveled to China, Thailand, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Japan, and Mexico.
In my current full time role, I am teaching full time at another college. I am in charge of our entrepreneurship program and acquiring news students from various sociocultural backgrounds.
Dr. Kim Fields , Ed.D., CBAP, PMP, M.S., MBA, is an experienced Project Manager with over 25 years of IT experience in several industries (automotive, business services, healthcare), including 15 years experience as a Project Manager. She has held such positions as programmer (client server and mainframe), Systems Analyst, and Database Lead before becoming a Project Manager.
Treka Elizabeth Spraggins has a career that spans more than 35 years. She has worked in the fields of social services, business / finance, her local public-school district, and in higher education. Treka believes that human capital resources are our nation’s best commodity and our most valuable product. Treka has taught many adult learners who have achieved success in their academic and professional lives. These now successful adults stay in contact with her to share their achievements.
I have worked at the State Attorney’s Office and at Corporate Law firms which specialized in White Collar crime, Business Law and an array of other law fields. In the past, I worked as an Auxiliary member of the United States Coast Guard in the field of private investigations, Miami-Dade Police Academy as a Squad leader, a firefighter, business, law enforcement/forensics and homeland security.
Education has been a key in my life. I completed a law degree, then a Master’s in Business Admn, continued on to a Master’s in Criminal Justice and Master’s in Sports Admn. I further completed my PhD and enjoyed my educational journey.
As a retired Marketing Manager with over 40 years of management in government service, I have acquired a vast knowledge of areas related to management, corporate social responsibility, and leadership. Before retirement, I decided to focus my attention on an area that could have a positive impact on individuals and the world as a whole – teaching. Giving back and sharing with others through teaching in higher education has always been dear and essential. Preparing others to serve through education can have a positive impact on our future.
I have my MBA from Strayer University Online and a Bachelor in Business Administration and Conflict Resolution from North Central College in Naperville, IL. I have over 20 years of experience in the business world in multiple industries including Health Care, Government Contracting and Distribution. My technical area of business is Human Resources and I hold multiple certifications in this field. HR is a field that touches all areas of the business. I work as an Advisor and often confidant of some of the top leaders in my organization and must be able to make strategic recommendations that will help lead our organization to the next level.
Dr. Keenan L. Andrews graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. She received her Master’s in Political Science from Roosevelt University and her Doctorate in Management from Colorado Technical University.
She often shares a quote with students from the late Howard Thurman, a prominent philosopher, theologian, and educator: “Don’t ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive and then go do that. Because what the world needs are people who have come alive.”
I am a working director of programming and research for WSB-TV/Cox Media Group in Atlanta, GA. I have been a marketing research director for more than 20 years and before that I was the marketing manager for the Battle Creek Enquire newspaper. As part of my job, I am the Cox Media Group representative for the Nielsen Policy Guidelines Committee, the NAB Committee on Local Television Audience Measurement, and the Media Rating Council board member. Also, I am the owner of the Velvet Peanut Butter Company, so I bring a unique prospective of being both an employee for a big corporation and a small business entrepreneur.

I currently hold a Doctor of Management, Organizational Leadership degree from the University of Phoenix. My background hails from computer networking and teaching in the IT field for about 20 years. I have a Master’s Degree in Information Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. I am Microsoft Certified as an MCSE (twice) from a while back, and am also certified by CompTIA in A+, and N+.
I first started teaching at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the mid-1990’s in Human Physiology of all things, and then starting teaching IT in the late 1990’s. Also, I have worked in various IT positions over the years. My main specialty is administering Microsoft Server networks, and working with various networking devices, like switches, routers, hubs, wireless, etc.
Dr. Waters possesses a Doctor of Business Administration degree in Healthcare Management and a Master of Business Administration degree from Liberty University. He has also earned a Master of Science in Healthcare Quality and Safety and a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Additionally, Dr. Waters is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality and Safety (CPHQ) and a Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA). His research interests include process improvement and employee engagement. Much of his work has focused on understanding compassion fatigue and burnout in healthcare employees.
Dr. Kimberly Heckstall’s career expertise and business scholarship has dedicated her as a Business College Professor and successful Business Consultant for over 10-years. Her dual leadership roles have profited her the opportunity to impart business instruction to graduate and undergraduate learners enrolled in various school of business programs throughout the Northeast, Southwest, and Southern regions of the United States for the purpose of building, developing, and creating student learning initiatives.
Disseminating business theories and explaining employee best practices is what inspires Kimberly the most as she mentors adult learners seeking leadership roles as they work to build personal knowledge management (PKM) and develop new skill sets in their chosen careers.

Dr. Foster holds a Doctor of Strategic Leadership in Strategy and Foresight and a Master of Organizational Leadership (Coaching and Mentoring) from Regent University. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Human Resources) from the University of Tampa, Florida. Additionally, Dr. Foster is a member of the International Leadership Association (ILA), National Society for Leadership and Success (NSLS), and a Certified Higher Education Professional for Online Education (CHEP). He has over 30 years of business experience, with 20 plus years as an Entrepreneur. He is the founder and CEO of Maximum Change Coaching and Consulting, where he has provided coaching, consulting, leadership, and strategy services to clients around the world since 2015. His research interest includes organizational design, remote work, the future of work, and the 21st century workforce. He is the author of The Open Organization. A New Era in Leadership and Organization Design (2016) and Cloudforce. The Virtual Workforce of the Post-Pandemic 21stCentury (2021).
Dr. Terrance Woods is a part-time faculty member in the School of Business and serves as a Dissertation Chair. In addition to his academic qualifications, which include a Ph.D. in Business Management, an MBA in Entrepreneurship, and a BS in Economics, he is certified in Management by the American Management Association. He has received several recognitions during his doctoral studies and was elected a member of Delta Mu Delta and Golden Key International Honor Societies because of his high scholastic attainment. His professional experience spans over 25 years in the financial services industry, during which time he worked in a leadership capacity at some of the leading commercial banks and property and casualty insurance companies in the country. Dr. Woods has a keen interest in leveraging his expertise in business management, banking, and entrepreneurship to help aspiring entrepreneurs in the local community through his small business consulting firm, Millennial Business Consulting LLC.
