Falcons Soar Again: CIU Dominates Cal Miramar 101–59

The California Intercontinental University Falcons caught fire once more, blazing past Cal Miramar University with a commanding 101–59 victory, marking their second consecutive win and a statement performance in early-season play

From the opening tip, the Falcons unleashed a defensive storm that left Cal Miramar grounded. Chase Nelson led the aerial attack with 19 points, while A.J. Robinson carved through defenders for 18, showcasing his trademark agility and precision.

Head Coach Gamal Smalley praised the team’s collective drive, calling the performance “a total team effort fueled by the energy from the bench.” That spark was unmistakable as Kaeden Sibrian and Zach Reyes each ignited for 11 points, while Isaiah Tiggett soared for 10 of his own. Jalen Tiggett and Jonathan Hakim chipped in 6 points apiece, dominating the boards with relentless hustle.

Coach Smalley singled out his backcourt catalysts, remarking, “Our two buzzsaw guards, Lydorean Smith and Lamonte ‘Magic’ Greene, ignited the defense off the bench and kept our momentum burning.”

The Falcons’ flight continues this week:
The Development Team will host Cal Miramar’s Development squad on Thursday, and
The Varsity Falcons return home to face Cal Poly Pomona ct on Friday at 2:00 PM at The MAP Sports Facility in Garden Grove.

With this win, the CIU Falcons soar to a 2–1 record, their wings catching the updraft of teamwork, tenacity, and Falcon pride.
