Standing 6’6” with boundless energy, Isaiah brings not only athletic firepower but also a story rooted in family, discipline, and unshakable love for the game.
Basketball has been Isaiah and Jalen’s compass since childhood. Head Coach Gamal Smalley can’t help but sing his praises: “Isaiah is pure joy to be around. He and his brother bring this twin-powered spark that lights up the whole team. I’m convinced Falcon Nation won’t just like Isaiah—they’ll fall head over heels for his energy and that winning smile.”
“I grew up playing with my siblings, so basketball has always been a part of my life. It taught me discipline and gave me something to love and stay focused on. That’s why I stuck with it,” Isaiah said.
Now, that focus has led them to the almighty CIU Falcons, thanks to an opportunity from his Prep Coach Sheeck Morris, now on the CIU staff, that Isaiah describes as nothing short of life changing. “Coach Smalley and Coach Sheeck gave me a great opportunity to attend and play for the the CIU FALCONS,” he shared with gratitude.
On the academic front, Isaiah’s mind is as sharp as his jump shot. He’s pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology, proving that his vision for the future goes beyond the basketball court.
But make no mistake—Isaiah’s mission for the Falcons is crystal clear:
“I HOPE TO BRING CHAMPIONSHIPS,” he stated boldly, echoing the same championship mentality that runs through his family and his twin brother Jalen.
Family is, in fact, Isaiah’s greatest inspiration, the force that keeps him grounded even as he prepares to take flight. And with his twin brother by his side at CIU, the journey feels even more meaningful.
“Excited for sure,” Isaiah said with a grin, knowing that this chapter is going to be unforgettable.
He’s also already vibing with Coach Gamal Smalley, whose energy and humor keep the team’s spirit high. “Coach Smalley is a funny guy and great to be around,” Isaiah added.
